Individuals associated with the Australian City Farms and Community Gardens Network (ACFCGN) and South Sydney Council (SSC) are included in this study due to their roles as educators, coordinators and mediators. The individuals interviewed are associated with particular gardens, but largely occupy spaces between numerous other bodies such as community gardens and local government, so illustrate aspects of these spaces and how individuals engage with these.
